The beamsplitters can be devided into two kinds . One kind is dichroism beamsplitters .Though the dichroism beamsplitters can be devided into two kinds again: shortpass beamsplitters and longpass beamsplitter . With the shortpass beamsplitters ,the light go though the glass in the shorter waveband though the light will be stopped in the longer waveband .With the longpass beamsplitters ,the light go though the glass in the longer waveband though the light will be stopped in the shorter waveband .The other kind of the beamsplitter is neutral beamsplitter .With this kind of beamsplitter , the rate between the power of transmitted light and the power of reflectrive light almost keep the same in a special wavelength
